Lundahl Transformers

Spend spend spend!

I've been on audio shopping spree since a few months ago! These are the new DIY audio components that Damien & I bought recently.

LL9202 / 50mA - for 801A Class A2 tube amplifier

LL1671 / 30mA - for 801A class A2 tube amplifier driver (6BX7GT)

LL1623 / 60mA - for 2A3 Class A tube amplifier

Rule of thumb for getting single ended output transformers (on the bass region, I'm a bass freak!) is to make sure there are plenty of primary inductance per kilo Ohm of impedance

For example, for 2A3, the usual load is 2.5k, meaning at least 25H is needed at primary side. Checking the LL1623 / 60mA yields 46H! That's considered very good already! Same with LL9020, go search for the datasheet and confirm yourself!

Both project details to be updated soon! Stay tuned!
